100 Club Gala Dinner and Draw

April 21, 2017

The annual 100 Club Gala Dinner and Draw was held on Friday 31st March, and was a special event for many reasons. Now in its seventeenth year, this year’s 100 Club Gala Dinner & Draw was the last Gala overseen by the Sunshine Coast Turf Clubs CEO Mick Sullivan. Mr Sullivan introduced the 100 Club Sponsorship concept back in 2000 when he commenced the role as CEO of the Sunshine Coast Turf Club.

Mr Sullivan commented ‘The 100 Club is unique in that it allows small local businesses through to international companies the same chance to receive massive exposure for their brand through local, national and international coverage of the $175,000 Caloundra Cup’.

The 100 Gala Dinner and Draw give 100 businesses the opportunity to enter the draw on the night for the chance to win a variety of prizes. The major prize on offer is the exclusive naming rights to the Sunshine Coast Turf Club’s Listed $175,000 Caloundra Cup to be held on Saturday 1st July 2017 over 2400m. All prizes have a value of at least $2,500.

The Sunshine Coast Turf Club encourages sponsors to form solid and ongoing relationships through numerous social events throughout the year, that are exclusive to the 100 Club sponsors.

The major prizes on the night were won by the following businesses:

  • The Pump House won the major prize, which includes the exclusive naming rights to this year’s $175,000 Caloundra Cup, a table for 10 guests in the VIP Champagne Garden and two prominent on-course signs
