In accordance with Racing Queensland all meetings, along with trials and trackwork, across the state will be conducted without patrons and will be limited to key raceday personnel only until further notice.
Only essential Racing QLD and Sunshine Coast Turf Club staff, some licensed racing participants, and a restricted number of broadcast and media representatives will be permitted to attend. Owners and Sunshine Coast Turf Club Members along with General Admission customers will not be allowed entry.
Race meetings will continue to be fully broadcast across SKY Racing and its digital platforms. The racecourse will be in full lockdown with security staff to check and allow only essential licensed and accredited, and approved, racing participants entry to the racecourse for the foreseeable future. The online racebook, for the upcoming race meeting, will be available on our website after acceptances have been approved.
The impact of COVID-19 on the Racing Season is still an evolving situation. Until we have a greater comprehension of the impact regarding the Racing Season, we are not able to make any decisions in relation to membership currently.
We apologise for the disappointment this is causing and would appreciate your understanding during this difficult time. Your health, safety and wellbeing, and that of our all our members, patrons, staff and all involved within the industry remains paramount.
We are committed to keeping everyone informed and will provide further updates in due course. In the meantime, we highly recommend listening to the health advice warnings from Government and official health organisations.
Stay safe & well.
