FAQs

The membership application process is quick and easy. There are three ways to join the Sunshine Coast Turf Club:

3. In person: The Head Office of Sunshine Coast Turf Club is located at Corbould Park, 170 Pierce Avenue, Caloundra. Our business hours are Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5.00pm and Friday 8.30am to 4.00pm. Or visit us at the Kiosk on Racedays.

Sunshine Coast Turf Club operate a little differently to many race clubs throughout Australia. We do not ask for a proposer and welcome new members join the SCTC racing community. Once your application and payment have been received, your application will be submitted to the Sunshine Coast Turf Club Board of Directors for approval.

If you have joined as a Members you can expect your new Member Pack to arrive within the next 5-7 business days. If you are planning a visit to the Racecourse within this period of time please contact the membership department and we can arrange for your pack to be collected at the entry gate.

The Members Reserve (Copper Kingdom and The Atrium) are wheelchair accessible with disabled amenities located inside the facility.

Yes, Sunshine Coast Turf Club members can purchase additional tickets to the members enclosure. On a normal race meeting, members can purchase tickets to the Members Enclosure at the front entry gate.

Please contact the membership department on 07 5491 6788 if you have lost or misplaced your member cards. The Membership department can arrange for a new Membership card to be posted to you. Please note, a $20.00 card replacement fee may be applicable depending on the circumstances. The previous membership card/s will then be cancelled so it cannot be used by another person.

There is a strict dress code for the Members Reserve which is available on our website.

If you forget your Membership card on a raceday, you will be required present valid photo ID at the front entry gate. Your members card barcode will be deactivated so it cannot be used by another person and you will be issued a temporary ticket for the day. Please note that you will not receive member discounts or loyalty rewards without your membership card.

No. Your member card is strictly non-transferable and lending it to a non-Member is a breach of Sunshine Coast Turf Clubs policy. Ignoring this policy may lead to a review of your Membership by our Board of Director’s. Members cards discovered in use by any person other than the Member will be confiscated for the day.

Each Sunshine Coast Turf Club member agrees to abide by the Club rules at the time of purchasing a Membership application.

On race days, the Public Area is the only area where you can bring in your home-made goodies and nibbles. No food from outside of the racetrack can be brought into the Members Reserve including Champagne Garden, Copper Kingdom and The Atrium or in the Trackside Marquee or Social Lawn.

Sunshine Coast Turf Club membership season runs from 1st August through until the 31st July. Renewal advice will be sent out prior to the renewal date.
