The Sunshine Coast Turf Club proudly announces a $15,565 donation to Young Veterans Sunshine Coast, this year’s official charity partner for the 2025 91.1 Hot FM Ladies Oaks Day. Held on Friday 30 May, the event delivered yet another record turnout with strong community spirit.

This significant donation, representing 10% of gate takings from the day, pushes the event’s total charitable contribution to over $215,000 since inception.

John Miller, CEO of Sunshine Coast Turf Club, shared:

“Young Veterans do outstanding work supporting our ex-service members and their families. It’s a privilege to use this platform to make a tangible difference in the lives of those who’ve served our country.”

Rod Winner, General Manager of 91.1 Hot FM, echoed the event’s success and purpose:

““For over 20 years, 91.1 Hot FM have partnered with the Sunshine Coast Turf Club to host Ladies Oaks Day, and generate donations for local Sunshine Coast Charities. Young Veterans Sunshine Coast are an amazing organisation that we are proud to be able to contribute towards”.

Peter Kennedy, of Young Veterans Sunshine Coast, added:

“I would like to personally thank the Sunshine Coast Turf Club and 91.1 Hot FM for their incredible support. It has been a pleasure working alongside two such professional organisations, whose contribution will help us bring real change and renewed hope to so many residents across the Sunshine Coast.”
