Celebrating 40 Year’s

In 2025, the Sunshine Coast Turf Club celebrates a major milestone—40 years since its first official raceday on 25 July 1985. 

To commemorate this occasion, SCTC is delivering a digital campaign titled 40 Years, 40 Memories, running from Monday, 16 June to Friday, 25 July 2025. Over 40 days, we will share iconic moments, fan-favourite stories, and behind-the-scenes memories from the club’s history—culminating in our 40th Anniversary Raceday.

As part of the celebration, 40 prizes will be given away to 2024/25 SCTC members for each day of the countdown. These giveaways are designed to thank our loyal members and highlight the partnerships and community that have helped shape SCTC into what it is today.

Terms & Conditions

Promoter 

The promoter is Sunshine Coast Turf Club Inc. 22 950 178 141 located at 170 Pierce Avenue, Caloundra QLD 4551. 

Eligibility  

  • Entry is open to financial members of the SCTC 2024/25 season as of Monday, 16 June 2025. 
  • All entrants must be aged 18 years or older. 
  • SCTC staff, board members, and their immediate families are not eligible to win. 

Campaign Period 

  • The giveaway will run from Monday, 16 June 2025 to Friday, 25 July 2025, inclusive. 
  • 39 daily prizes will be awarded from Monday, 16 June to Thursday, 24 July 2025. 
  • The final giveaway will occur on-course during SCTC’s 40th Anniversary Raceday on Friday, 25 July 2025. 

Entry Mechanism 

  • All eligible members are automatically entered into the draw as of the campaign start date. 
  • No further action or registration is required. 
  • Members may only win once throughout the campaign. 

Prize Structure 

  • A total of 40 prizes will be awarded throughout the campaign: 
  • 39 prizes will be randomly drawn from eligible members and announced one per day from 16 June to 24 July 2025. 
  • The 40th and final prize will be distributed on-course during SCTC’s 40th Anniversary Raceday on Friday, 25 July 2025. 

Daily Prize Draw (Days 1–39) 

  • All 39 winners will be randomly drawn prior to the campaign commencing. 
  • Winners will be announced daily from 16 June to 24 July 2025 via SCTC’s digital platforms. 
  • Each winner will be notified via email following the announcement. 
  • Prizes may include digital vouchers or physical items. Collection details will be provided individually. 
  • All prizes must be claimed within 30 days of the campaign ending (by 23 August 2025) or may be forfeited. 

Anniversary Raceday Giveaway (Day 40 – 25 July 2025) 

  • The final giveaway will consist of 300 limited edition SCTC 40th Anniversary schooner coolers. 
  • These will be distributed to 2024/25 SCTC members only, attending the Anniversary Raceday on Friday, 25 July 2025. 
  • Members must present valid proof of membership on the day. 
  • Coolers will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, while stocks last. 
  • This prize is not part of the random draw and is only available in person at the event. 

Prize Conditions 

  • Prizes are non-transferable and not redeemable for cash. 
  • Prizes may not be exchanged or substituted. 
  • Any unclaimed prizes after the specified period will be forfeited. 

Publicity & Privacy 

  • By participating, winners agree to the publication of their full name across SCTC social media platforms and campaign microsite. 
  • All personal information will be handled in accordance with SCTC’s Privacy Policy. 

General 

  • The promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants and to disqualify any individual who breaches these terms. 
  • The promoter’s decisions are final and no correspondence will be entered into. 
  • The promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in prize value or unforeseen circumstances impacting prize delivery.
